In the Deep Deep Dark
by JD Kirk
Series: DCI Logan Crime Thrillers
A letter arrives at Inverness Police Station, addressed to DCI Jack Logan. No name. No demands. Just the coordinates of twelve locations scattered across the Scottish Highlands.
What the police find at each one is worse than anything Logan has faced before. Crude wooden coffins. Buried deep. And on the inside of every lid, the same desperate evidence of what the victims endured in their final hours.
Frantic, bloodied scratch marks.
Someone has been taking people for years. Hiding them down in the deep deep dark. Waiting.
Now, the waiting is over – and the real nightmare is about to begin.
