Burial Point
by Sarah Ward
The truth always rises to the surface.
Carla James has left Jericho College… for now. Charged with supervising a graveyard dig in the town of Simeon’s Point, the change of pace is welcome. Until a body is found at the foot of the lighthouse, their identity none other than the very professor Carla has replaced on the dig after he was accused of inappropriate behaviour with a student. With yet another murder on her doorstep, Carla does what she does best: start digging for the answers. Soon, she learns of the unsolved death of the old lighthouse keeper, a story that still provokes hostility from the locals. But as more and more disturbing parallels between past and present come to light, the line between accuser and accused become totally blurred.
