A Perfectly Plotted Murder

Margery receives an award for forty years of service to the school and begins to wonder if it’s time for a change. She doesn’t have long to dwell on it because the next day, she arrives at work to find that a science teacher, Mr Blake, is dead in the school’s canteen.

It is revealed that he died after being electrocuted by a faulty piece of kitchen equipment, which Margery knows for certain was working the day before. The headmistress has no choice but to suspend Margery while an investigation takes place. This causes uproar amongst the dinner ladies, and they go on strike while they help Margery and Clementine clear Margery’s name.

Although banned from school grounds, Margery and Clementine begin digging for clues. As they uncover tampered maintenance records it seems as though someone has it out for Margery. Can the dinner lady detectives clear her name?
